LMAO!! Thats happened once before on another map I was playing. You gotta change the map FAST (like in about 10 - 15 seconds) or your chances of being able to get out of the game without alt-ctrl-del become slim. It also completely crashes the server because it will use up 100% CPU and memory and then I have to kill the process in order to stop it

LMAO!! Thats happened once before on another map I was playing. You gotta change the map FAST (like in about 10 - 15 seconds) or your chances of being able to get out of the game without alt-ctrl-del become slim.

I was actually in the game both times when it happened. In both cases, we were doing things we weren't supposed to (I won't go into details, so people don't try it out thenselves, and start crashing servers left and right). Both cases were different, with different results.

The first time, only a few cars popped-up, one every few seconds, and the server crashed within minutes. The second time, the one that's in the picture, cars were popping-up like popcorn! Several hundreds of vehicles, 2 or 3 per second, most of them in a huge pile at the top of the hill, while the others just rolled-down and occupied the entire mountain. The server took a long time before crashing.

I'll send Shrimp a private note explaining what we were doing when the problems happened.

Why? I am one of the Dev of UnWheel, a mapper and the server manager for the Team,
(next time you play UnWheel, in the menu where you choose your car hit the credits button) or http://unwheel.beyondunreal.com/credits.html

I host the Official Game server and am interested in knowing what activates this bug, incase it may be prevented by a server admin or steps taken when building a new map.

I do not have any interest in exploiting the bug only preventing.

Okay, I'll take your word for it. Quite seriously, I had no idea who you were. But still, I'm a paranoid little action figure. I know as a fact that Shrimp is one of the developers, so I sent him the list of possible ways of crashing the server. Since one of the developers has it, I'm sure he'll he'll share it with the others. Don't get me wrong, but I'm just trying to protect the mod.

Jerdaygo is quite definately a developer for UnWheel; he has maintained the only official server for months, and you have played his maps as well
