I have no problem with the joking, and you'd best belive us Euro types can make fun of the French too. But i do fear that not everyone understands that it's a joke, or even knows where thease stereotypes come from, and that they aren't real.

holy sh*t, when will you figure out that it was just a stupid joke?

    THIS JUST IN
the Arab League does not approve of the coalition efforts in Libya.
didn't see that one coming ;)

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/world...mpaign-in-libya/2011/03/20/AB1pSg1_story.html

apparently Denmark, Norway, Italy, and Spain have also contributed "assets" to the coalition effort. other countries that have not yet openly announced their involvement are either waiting to do so on their own accord or specifically do not want to be mentioned. the Pentagon acknowledged that we are being aided by a select few Arab regimes who want their involvement kept secret.

I suppose I'm carrying a bit of baggage, I used to work with an american who would do nothing but moan and belittle other nations for petty stuff. He sounded genuinely bitter and accusing about it.

That's completely understandable; when I was in Venice we sat down at a restaurant with these old redneck couples. They were loud, obnoxious, complaining about all the stairs in Venice, etc..... I was downright ashamed that these people, as old as they were, did not possess the humility or wisdom of being an outsider in a foreign land. And worst of all... they were from the same country as I!

Now please, if the Euro BuFers would please hurl some good anti-American jokes our way.... :D

Found some guys post on a news site.

"What if American’s decided to rebel against our government, and took to the streets with arms and demanded new leadership ?
Would we expect the Soviet Union, or China, to show up on our shores and launch missile attacks and interfere with our cause ? CERTAINLY NOT !!"

    Who would help?

It's been there for quite awhile, but hasn't shown up much! Post count being so low and such. I don't ever plan to change it either!
