The epitome of the CS Llama

So, I went to a LAN party this weekend hosted by a friend of my roommate's. We mostly played a lot of RtCW 'cause that's how everyone at the LAN knew each other. One guy who showed up later had never played it before, though, and was immediately pissy about having to play this game he was unfamiliar with.

At some point, he actually said out to the room "We should play a different game then I'd *totally* school you guys."

Turns out he's a big fan of CamperStrike. Big surprise. A lot of the other people at the LAN were also fans of CS, so eventually everyone wanted to play a couple rounds. I had to install it onto my machine, though as I've only played it a couple times. I even asked "How do you play this game?"

The CS Llama laughed from the other side of the coffee table and said something to the effect of "Oh no, not one of THOSE."

Well, I knew enough to get some money to buy a sub machine gun, ammo and armor. Then I proceeded to smear his b!tch @ss all over the walls every time I saw him, chuckling to myself as I hear him shout "Oh whatEVER!!" each time I take him down. I could tell he wanted to complain about lag or something like that ... but it was a LAN =)

Yes, the CS community is in stark contrast to the Tribes2 community, which only attracts the highest calibur of on-line gamer.

Sven : A community is judged by the worst members, and because CS is so popular a lot of rabble play it. Tribes2 is only played by those who are genuinly interested in the gameplay and dont care that its fairly unpopular. There are a lot of very good CS players, but they are blotted out by the 14/\/\3r5

yeah, but the lamer will make you quit the community...
