The big unrealistic part of INF

hi!

i'm here to bore you all about the weakness of pistols in INF.
they are WEAK at penetrating (killing people), weak in rate of fire, weak as magazine holding possibility, weak in range, weak in all!!!!!!!

------?. are pistols is like real life.--------

to continue i need a little consideration:

you want a realistic game that simulate soldiers life on battlefields? America's Army has no equal, is simply the best. and vehicle will be added soon. so no comparison.

you want a 100% realistic game that simulate realistic fights of paramilitary (mercenaries/revolutionaries/independentist/talibans/ecc...) corps?? i think is this, the choice about INF.

here come the " BUG " of pistol in INF. the pistols are like weak RIFLE in INF. real life is different. with an M16+M203+ alot of ammo+nades i cannot be an olimpionic athlet, i just can move around and perform little jumps like INF suggest us.

BUT with ONLY a gun and some bullets for it, i can perform other moves, like grappling on box, like run faster, perform fast dodge, throw myself fast, climb up on things that normally do not allow climb ecc..
and another thing. turn an heavy MINIMI need brute force and time to be accurate at aiming, in real life. turn a light pistol is faster and accurate. seems this was not considered in INF.

i know it will not be fixed, i just make you pay attention at this.

ok, newbie.
If you had done any playing you will notice that you CAN run faster with just a pistol!
IF you had fone any playing you would be able to aim a pistol faster than a MINIMI

Well without any evidence it's difficult to take you seriously. I get the impression your experience comes from other games, which are no means for basing your view of 'realistic' on given that many people here have real life military experience. You could also try using the search function of these forums, as climbing and (I think) turning speed have already been discussed in depth.

I have played for 5 minutes and noticed some speed differences in the weapons, depending on thier size.

Pfft. Ive even looked at the code that does it. :D

I dunno why but this makes me picture myself with my ruck sack on with 4 rifles and 10 grenades with some floating INF guy head "suggesting" I walk slower than I normally can...

I"m not even gonna touch "olimpionic"...
