Thumbs up to Teotl Studios for pushing the issue and Epic Games for allowing it to happen. According to a post by Hourences, The Ball will add support for custom levels by the end of the year. Hopefully we'll see the Ued community grind out a few gems for the game and remind the games industry that it's a good thing to support a level editor.

Yeah, so now I'll be able to make levels for The Ball!

    Oh, wait...

EDIT: I like this, too. Hopefully that'll result in some nice puzzles/survival maps =)

I'm anticipating that there sadly will not be any code support for it though :(

I'm sure Kismet is going to be intigrated into Ball-ed, so what code is needed?

    Don't make me hurt you.

Kismet is not a substitute for code.

Well, I guess it at least enables it for mappers who don't know anything about programming to do basic scripting.

I was under the impression Ball-ed was for making additional maps, not game-types, weapons, artifacts, etc... though you could do some of that with Kismet :p
