TELNET SERVICES

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I recently learned how to fake your email address for fun. For those of you that look in this post hoping to find a way of concealing your identity, look elsewhere. Fake emails can be traced very easily. OK!! HERE'S MY PROBLEM!

Whenever i log on to telnet and try to connect to a remote host, what happens is that it asks for a logon name and password, but i have no friggin clue as to what should go in there. I know telnet is the old school way to check email, so maybe one of you people out there would be kind enough to lend me your old name and password? if so, e-mail me please

Wouldn't that be the username and password for whatever telnet server you are attempting to connect to? The only telnet experience I have is connecting to a local BBS to chat via telnet. All I had to enter for that was my name and password for the BBS, just like I used when I would sign onto it via a dial-up modem connection.
