With this new patch out as of yesterday i feel that the game is getting all the more closer to being ready for competition... With this i would like to invite you US players to post on the forums over at Teamwarfare.... http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/forumdisplay.asp?forumid=282

this is so that we admins can get a good idea of what exactly you guys would like to see in a ladder or league (or both)... we are dedicated to giving you gamers exactly what you want... so post and make your voice heard...

This is amazing, noone from North America has any ideas about what the ladder rules should be like? Visit the TWL forums and share your thoughts.

TWL is new to hosting XMP competition so they're looking for input on stuff like:
How many maps per match?
What time limit per map?
How many players per team?
What should the maplist be?

Games ending in timeouts has been a well discussed, and needed to be decided what to do with topic. As to what points you get for energies, arties held by players or in node on each team. ( I believe there was a post about this somewhere o_O )

Mo' peeps need to get involved. Everyone complained about a lack of a GOOD North American based ladder with many teams on it. This is your chance to make one. TWL has been established for YEARS and are VERY coordinated. Hell, most of their tournaments they have for the games even get prizes! I remember when I competed in the Operation Triple Threat tournament for Raven-Shield in Feb' 03. Our eyes were on the prize of a then brand-new Radeon 9800xt. Not saying tournaments like that are available to UTXMP.. but just know that they organize tons of stuff and are very active in their communities. We have Sweettooth and Lostmatt at least to take care of everything, and they aren't just some admin of the site... they play the game, and will know everything we do and will be able to work things out the best they possibly can.

TWL for teh win!

some of us already did that a few weeks ago while stating the jolt-rules are just fine.
