Am I the only person who thinks a team wearing desert or black-op uniforms in a snow environment, or vice versa, would be suicide?
I appreciate the fact that teams must be designated by uniform, but having snow uniforms in an urban level, or urban uniforms in a desert level is not very realistic at all, and provides the other team with a possible advantage. For one thing, they might be easier to spot, and another, their opponents might have skins that blend in.
Perhaps there could be two types of desert/jungle/snow/urban skins? Or, when a person joins the game, they can pick one of two choices for their team skin, while the other team gets the other two skins to pic from.
For example, team A gets Desert and Urban skins, and one would assume that depending on the level, the players would generally pick the skin that blended in.
Meanwhile, team B would be able to pick the Snow and Jungle uniforms, which would give them the ability to pick the *best-fitting* skin available. Perhaps neither Snow nor Jungle would be appropriate, but if they were in a dark urban setting the jungle would fit in a lot better than Snow.
Who knows, this idea might blow, but I'm just asking for some way to give both teams a fair start. If seals and rabbits were brown/gray during the winter, polar bears would decimate them. If panthers were white instead of black, their prey would see them coming a mile away.
The army of every super-power in the world does not have one uniform. They have various uniforms they pick from, depending on where they will be stationed and expect combat.
At the very least, please make red and blue (the two main colours teams are most likely to be) black/blue and jungle, so at least in either environment they won't be so easy to spot. Also realize that there are hardly any desert levels, while I have yet to see a snow level (other than Overlord, but dark camos would fit better).
Thank you for your time.
