I wouldn't expect these in Inf anytime soon, but maybe after 3.0....

mmmm...9mm goodness

Goddamn Gryphon, this is some serious gourmet shit! We would of been satisified with some 30 rounds mags and he springs this gourmet shit on us. What flavour is this?

Btw, half my keyboard is out now. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'm curious, is the MP5 designed for that kind of sustained fire w/o overheating? There must be a couple hundred rounds in those drums!

Wow man, fuck me. Drill someone with that thing and there'd be more holes than person when you were finished. They're called Beta C magazines as far as I know.

A silver dollar for the fluid and deluminated man in the balcony. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Liquid Night is correct.

That's a Beta C-Mag in 9mm. More familiar are the .223 versions for the M16 series. The drum holds 100 rounds, and can be stored loaded indefinitely without damaging the spring. They retail for about $250.00, but since these have been manufactured after 9/94 they are POST-BAN and thus restricted to LEO/Gov't/Military/Export use only (so yes, technically exporting one to yours truly would be legal /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ).

So even if you guys DID save up enough to buy that registered receiver MP5A3 for $8500, unless you were an 02/07 you'd never own one of these legally. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif But if you're the kind whose righteous conscience compells you to disobey unconstitutional and unjust laws and DO have one illegally, more power to you, I say. Just don't get caught. ;

Dang it someone beat me to it. I don't think i've ever seen them in 9mm though.

i've seen those on a couple 5.56 HK's as well. I'm not sure if the G36 series has been tweeked to take the M-16 series clip yet ( i heard they would, since i'm assuming HK wants to market the G36's here in the states) but as Gryph said they've been on the M16's for a while so i wouldn't be surprised.. but i think i've seen them on the HK G41 (?) and that brazilan FN FAL/CAL rip off that uses M16 style clips..

I would have said Beta-C Mag as opposed to Beta C-Mag, but I'll assume it was a typo. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif yourself.
Nice linguistical trickery regarding my nomenclature Gryphon. Bit of a cunning linguist in our midst.
btw , does anyone else think that MP5's and in fact most H&K weapons are quite ugly?

P.S. I notice you said .223
Sounds so much better than 5.56 doesn't it?

Naw... 5.56 sounds a load better than .223. .223 sounds wimpy.

You gotta love a system that's actually based in reality.

The irony, I find, is that the United States clings tenaciously to the old guard way of measuring -- one based on the ruling monarch...only they didn't want the ruling monarch to rule them, they just wanted to know how big his thumbs and feet were... =)
