What's the current situation in your country? How have you had to limit yourself? Did you get enough toiletpaper? Have you been infected or relatives of you?

My city is in soft lockdown for close to two weeks now. This means all shops are closed except for supermarkets, drugstores, kiosks and gasstations. Schools and Universities are closed and so are Kindergardens, except for children whose parents work in hospitals. Coughing loud clears a street and two days ago selfmade facemasks started appearing on the streets. People who can work from home are lucky, conspiracy theorists feel like they've been always right and are more free than ever to spout nonsense. Clever assholes are making millions.
Things you rarely find these days in shops, toiletpaper, yeast, flour, condomes, meals in conserves. I've been doing chores at home I've been putting up and I eat more out of boredom. Videogames are no fun if they are all you can do. The weather is supposed to hit 20°C on the weekend and I'll probably go out wandering in the surrounding woods of Berlin just to get out.
At this point this all feels like forced school hollidays to me, I've not seen true desperation and death yet, have not met a single person who had corona or lost loved ones.

We have bushland a protected wetlands near us. I can always go out there because we in total lockdown.

Last week was, as I consider it, week one of something we are going to be living through for a very long time. There are no food shortages here.

The world has changed forever and, even when this crisis passes, it will never be the same again.

Stay safe y'all.

I'm one of the lucky home office guys. Yay. I'm an introvert which apparently makes this situation a lot easier to deal with, but even I miss interacting with my coworkers a bit. Also the office dogs.
I watch Netflix almost only during commute so I'm probably the only person on this planet to come out of this on the other side with more unwatched stuff than before. Imagine that.
So far I managed to get everything I need ... with more or less of a delay. Except for a mask. Obviously. Gotta A-Team one in the next couple of days.

I have been home for the past three weeks. The last time I went to work we had some sort of a meeting on what would happen next.
I'm not fortunate enough to work from home. Tomorrow I'll go to work but only for a couple of days. Next five I'll be home again.

But yeah, it does get to you. I'll be glad to see a change of environment. Naturally there will be few people at work. My employer is also very flexible when it comes to taking days off. My country has been doing... well, not so great really. Although it seems that the number of people having to be hospitalized is going down. I'll expect this lockdown to last for the entire month. It has to. We can't be carefull enough.

And the last three weeks have been filled with sun, sun andmore sun. We've had almost nothing but rainy days from November up to half March. Then the lockdown is ensued and spring comes. And bam.. sunny days.
But I'm not complaying. It would've been horrible having to face this with nothing but rain and cold. At least I can sit outside, or go for a short walk. Today has been very warm (20 degrees celcius). I really hope people have been following the guidelines.

My favourite pasttime is drawing and painting. And I've tons of supplies at home. So there's never really a dull moment :D. I've also been watching the trump press conferences. But I had to take a break because it was having an impact on my mental health. I've never seen such gross incompetence. Such a dangerous, narcisistic overgrown child. Whatever, I'll keep it short when it comes to the orange buffoon.

Stay safe everybody. I also don't know anyone who has fallen victim to this disease. The closest people to me are doing well. Let's hope it stays that way. But the numbers are telling....

I also work from home and am very insular/introverted anyways too.

I have stacks of DVD's and Blurays (movies, TV series and rock concerts etc.) that have yet to be watched.

We are pretty well set up in my house... it's going to be a long haul.

It's getting to be a bit like Groundhog Day. We are repeating the same day over and over again.......

....nah; I'm finding a lot to do around the house that hasn't been done and I am finding new things to do. Plan my days etc.

Do you guys remember me?

Anyway, I live in the Tokyo area for the past 11 years. People here are pretty clueless about this pandemic in every aspect. (This short article explains my struggle well) The numbers here are still increasing while many places around the world are going flat. A shining example of Japanese having no clue how this shit works. On top of that, people only recently started staying in, but there are still a lot of mama picnics with all their kids in tow in parks and by the rivers. Social distancing is lost in translation. Like everywhere else people are hoarding TP, but I think that has relaxed now. My fear is when the food shortage hits. I don't see this being over anytime soon, so I can see food supplies diminish a lot. I have been stocking up slowly since early February, so we have tons of canned goods, pasta, etc. We should be good for a while.

On the entertainment front I built a new PC back in late February in prep for this long isolation. I have tons of CDs, DVDs, and Blurays. I also have lots of downloaded stuff so I am good to go. The kids are Netflix junkies, so as long as that stays up then we should be fine on that end of things. I don't see this ending before the fall at the soonest. I honestly can see this going easily into next year.

Absolutely nothing has changed for me, lol. Only difference is I';m not working and just sitting at home collecting more money that I would be while working.

I'm using this opportunity to get my general health looked at. I have issues I let go way, WAY too long and it's high fucking time to do something about it.

Oh yeah, the air is clearer and cleaner, I've seen some stunningly clear skies in Berlin the past two weeks I've never seen here before. Birds are going nuts, every morning I get an awesome bird concerto and at night I hear cats and foxes fucking shit up. I've seen lots of fat bumblebees prowling the first blooming plants, lots of great tits(the bird you pervs, they're rare these days), this crisis is giving wildlife a little breather from us, so there's an upside to all of this. Nature is doing a little better and it has nothing to do with those idiots from fridays4futures :) awesome.

The hoarding of toilet paper has stopped since the thitrd week of march I think. I only got a pack of six rolls because I was running low anyway. And honestly, it's enough for a time.
I'm also fairly well stocked, canned goods etc. but nothing exagerated. If I go to the supermarket I get the essential fruit and vegetables etc.
Once, maybe twice a week. Always make sure to keep my distance.

I think, I hope most people do follow these guidelines. However, some jusst don't. Easter weeked there were too many people outside, it was really warm. Too many people walking too close to eachother. This will have its backlash in early may. The lockdown rules have been extended to the third of may anyway, but yeah.. it'll probably be for the rest of the month. And who knows....
In all honesty, I think we're not doing that well here in Belgium.

The air does seem cleaner indeed.

Yes. We managed to buy T-paper here too after the panic buying subsided.

The panic buying of stuff here in February through March was pathetic and lame.

Same thing here.....hoarding, slight shortages of stuff, lockdown, etc. Luckily I'm essential services and I work from home. We're set for a while and I think I'll get back to playing UT3/UT2004 offline soon. See Ya!:DD (in a smaller city on the west coast of Florida)

Stay safe everyone!

So far every family member is ok. My brother's other half is at risk due to her work so that may change as this thing spreads. I've picked up my iMac and Office Chair as set up at home for the time being. The annoying bit is the office landlord is an ass who won't really offer any discount or anything while this goes on.

Had toilet paper already, with 2 kids and myself we usually buy a big pack of rolls that last a while and from my last trip outside supermarkets are getting stocked back up. The annoying hoarding is just a pain in the backside. I'm glad I can avoid ASDA (Walmart in the UK) because of the type of shopper who goes there I've heard horror stories.

I have been lucky enough to do a partial PC upgrade which, for once has the core (CPU, RAM, Mobo) of my PC at a top spec which is a first for me. Next step is to jump in to this streaming game!

The launch of Disney+ keeps the kids entertained and there are so many people doing online classes, etc aimed at preschool kids my eldest has something to do during most of the day. He is also getting in to Rocket League on the PS4 (he'll come to the PC soon!) and we got lucky in the past week or so and picked up a Switch.

Yeah, so like I coughed today. And I just had to drink a couple of gallons of bleach. Whew! Just in the nick of time. I mean... I COULD have injected it, but I wanted to be a real man and do it properly.
So now I have this slight burning sensation inside me, and I'm coughing again.

WHAT TO DO???? SUN HELP ME!!!

I do. I got $20 from you for identifying a song. I have video proof. :)

I was actually thinking you guys after finding a couple pictures on one of my hard drives that took me back to 2000.
I even remember this gem from Neme. http://bash.org/?50182

I'm in Brooklyn, working from home. It's definitely not healthy for me to have this much time alone with my thoughts.

I happened to buy all of my gym equipment just before they started locking things down and everyone sold out. At work we're all on work from home. Church is canceled, and I think it could be over a year before they'll start that up again. You can't dine in at restaurants, but you can order pickup. So other than pickup and grocery shopping I haven't left my property.

People in general seem to have lost their minds. One group of people is convinced that the whole thing is a fraud, and that things shouldn't be locked down. All the data I look at suggests if we hadn't shut down that the hospitals would have been flooded. The other group of people thinks that we'll all stay under lock-down for a year or more until a vaccine is found. Not a realistic possibility economically speaking. We were only flattening the curve. Are we past that point where it's time to open up? I can't tell. Seems to me that we still don't know a lot of critically important metrics. Yet everyone is so convinced they know what is going to happen? I guess maybe I would feel differently if I had something at stake, but as long as the stores are stocked I can stay like this indefinitely.

It wouldn't be so bad if there was a good game to play, but everything is all randomized BR games.
