UE3 - UT3 Taking good screenshots

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Err... this is not very relevant to mapping, but how do I take screenshots in-game without the hud?

Type togglescreenshotmode into console to hide HUD elements & weapon, then you can capture high-resolution screenshots by using command tiledshots, for example tiledshots 4.

ToggleScreenShotMode is the better alternative. It hides the HUD (not by gradually turn off its components, but by turning it off entirely), the crosshair, the player's weapon and player beacons. (those billboards above other players' heads)
Using ToggleScreenShotMode a second time brings everything back.
That same command also works in UT2004, btw.
