I know it's gay, but is there anything I need to know before I start a TO map? Tutorials for all the special bot path things? Gameplay suggestions?

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
have you tried looking at [edit]**** i think that site has been removed[/edit] (i think that is the site). maybe there is something in there for you. The bots aren't quite the same.
Personally i think it is not as good as counterstrike (gameplay-wise). i hate the halflife engine, it's editor, and the way it is, but cs is fun (and hard) to play.

Well i personally think CS is a stronger game too, but as I don't really want to work with WorldCraft I'm going to do a TacOps one instead. I've got a theme, layout is coming along too, but i'll check into some sites.
i dont have to isntalled, so i dunno the paths, but its somewhere in faqs and stuff, look at their site
In UnrealTournament.ini Look for lines where it says
Paths=../System/*.u
Paths=../Textures/*.utx
Paths=../Maps/*.unr
Paths=../Music/*.umx
Paths=../Sounds/*.uax
Not sure which order they'll be in, anyways add this underneath:
Paths=../TacticalOps/System/*.u
Paths=../TacticalOps/Textures/*.utx
Paths=../TacticalOps/Maps/*.unr
Paths=../TacticalOps/Music/*.umx
Paths=../TacticalOps/Sounds/*.uax
That is, if Tactical ops installs in C:\UnrealTournament\TaciticalOps I can't remember.

I went to a few to places over the last few days and they gave me enough to work with, so I know essentially what to do now I can't on the otherhand, edit my .ini file. My computer is a ****ing peice of shit though, because it says it doesn't have enough memory to perform the following execution. I get that message when I press enter or exceed 20 new characters in fucking notepad. I hate my computer, everything about it works great, but nothing works correctly with anything else. Saying I have not enough memory is bullshit, I've got 512mb. My computer is gay, i can't even get windows 98se to reinstall correctly. I'd reformat my hd, but I don't have a computer to back up files too, because I haven't been able to fix our home network for about 8 months. Oh, well, my life sucks, this is really a rant isn't it?

That happens to me often, I just restart the computer and it works fine. Every time you run a program, it takes up system resources. Restarting clears these resources.

lool, you are runnign win98 on a pc with 512 ram ? and you find it weird that it acts weird ?
you are overunning it, win98 can onyl take 128 ram, above is possible, but then probs are possible, and your prob could perfectly come from the ghey and freaky stupid win98, take win2k or winxp, nothing else

2000 or XP???? for one thing, anyone who runs out and buys the first release of any microsoft product needs to take a peek into history... always let the buisinesses ruin their lives before spending all taht flow on software that is nothing more than a minor interface tweak and some new themes.

the more ram you give to win98 the more chanches on weird shirt, 512 is alot for it, and win98 just simply S U X, you dont want the ****, try 2000, its leet, i can run my pc for days and days without rebooting and running ued for 10 hours a day non stop, while at the same moment progs like 3dsmax run too and lots of other ****, and i still dont get chrashes or weird ****, while my old pc with 98 coudldnt even run for 8 hours with just surfing and chatting
ag i have gmax, ued, winamp, 5 convos and psp and or ps, along with sometimes wally, and hell even a few internet pages open all at once sometimes
I would upgrade but the money isn't flowing so quickly at my household
