Such a shame that some of the best music wasn't even used....

Recently got the soundtracks to the '98 beta and the 95 tech demo, and after hearning all of the tunes that were cut from the game, it only saddens me to know that they were never used in any Unreal sequels, or released on CD.

Underworld (Track 3 from the 95 demo) ~ probably my favourite of all the unused tunes, a very dark and mysterious piece that makes me think of wandering around in a giant castle.

Black Wind - Unreal '96 ~ Probably the only tune distingishable from the yet to be discovered 1996 build of the game. While it did make it into the game (mixed with 'Darkness'), this version has a creepier tone than the final tune.

Starship One ~ No idea why it wasn't used, would have been perfect at the beginning of the game. It set the perfect mood for finding yourself alone on starship stranded on an unknown planet.

Anyway, just my pick from the beta tunes.
