I know I'm a dork for still playing single player, but I am trying to get to top of Sunspire, but the elevator in the great hall will not come down to get me. Is there a button somewhere? Any alternative route? What did I miss? Please help!!!

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Check out Helscrag's walkthrough. There are so many elevators on this map, I'm not sure which one you're referring to.
If its the one I'm thinking of, you have to trigger a switch in the room near the elevator. But you can only see the switch with a flashlight, as its set against the wall. Engaging the switch releases a hidden compartment containg a flak gun, located behind the statue or something in the room. I think the switch also calls the elevator down.
