Strange problem

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Greetings,

I am a new mapper, and was just going through some of the tutorials you gentlemen recommended on learning the Unreal Ed 3.0 program. I was having a grand-old time...and everything was working fine through last night.

When I started Unreal Ed tonight, instead of getting the usual screen one sees on startup, I got this (see attached image). Just white with the buttons on the side. No viewports, and no perspective view. Everything still seems to function; I just can't see anything in the editiing window.

What happened? I tried changing some of the settings in hopes that I might stumble across what the problem was, but no luck. Is it just a setting, or a more serious problem?

Thanks for the help guys!

Oops...after altering the configuration of the viewports, the problem vanished. Looks like that fixed whatever happened.

Sorry to have wasted your time.

Easy To fix.

Go to View => Viewports => close all. Then go back to View => Viewports => Configure => Choose the one you like then hit OK. You should get our windows back..
