  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Starsiege:2845 is a total conversion MOD for the game Tribes:Vengeance, and will be based on the Starsiege universe created by Sierra/Dynamix. The MOD focuses on vehicular combat, in particular the Mecha aspects of games in the "Siege" series (Earthsiege I/II and Starsiege), and the marriage of infantry based ground units. Work is currently being done on the UT2k3 engine and will be ported to the modified UT engine T:V will be using upon our recipient of the beta engine code. The MOD is officially being sponsored by Sierra for inclusion with the upcoming release of Tribes:Vengeance in September 2004. Inclusion meaning "shipping with".

We're currently looking for 3 more coders/scripters to join our dedicated team. Candidates should be well versed in object oriented programming (OOP) routines and MUST have a copy of Unreal Tournament 2003 to develop on. Experience with UnrealEd and UT scripting is required.

This is a profesionally oriented team, numbering over 30 members, and many of them are seasoned vets of the gaming and media industry. Our writing staff is headed by Blake Hutchins, the writer-producer who helped create the Tribes and Starsiege games whilst at Dynamix. We also have Mr. Brian Butler on our soundFX team, whom some of you may recognize as the voice from some of the Fosters Beer commercials. If you are an experienced UT scripter and are interested in working with a professional, no-nonsense MOD team with a proven track record, give us a look.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a paying gig. All work being done on the project is strictly voluntary and is a basically a labor of love for our staff. Also please note as this project is being developed using intellectual property owned by Sierra and we will also eventually have access to proprietary code you will be required to sign Non Disclosure Agreements.

If interested, please contact me directly by emailing me at trajan@mechnex.net

Heya SV, long time no see. As far as the work it's coming along nicely. We just got a small write up in Computer Gaming. You should stop by and check things out.
