If there is one single thing the Neckless One can be counted upon to do, it's squatting down and squeezing another CGI-enhanced turd onto a film roll bearing the Star Wars®™ or Raiders of the lost Ark®™ logo if he has the remotest of hopes it will break even at the box office.

he probably is on the verge of bankruptcy have squandered his vast fortune on ewok porn and powdered donuts, and is desprate to pawn off some of his crap so he can keep living the good life.

the first one was only good cause he knocked off a classic.

i'm not really against starwars, just against the endless merchandising. well that and the fact that it could be so much better. it's like playing a pen and paper rpg, no matter how good the story is, it's going to suck if the charaters do, and even if the characters are good, if the story sucks it doesn't matter. you need the complete picture.

lucas has some good ideas, but frankly, i think it would have been better if he'd hired writers and let somebody else direct.

Loved it. I actually felt something other than..."oh cool. look at the special effects!"

Meh, I regret seeing it. It does not tie anything up beyond what we already know. The cool things are the graphics (Alderaan, Death Star under construction, premiere Star Destryoers).

But even still "We can't stop it. She is fine, but has no will to live" WTF IS THAT? lousy. Now I just think something that could have been so good just replaces the cool imaginiations and fantasies with digital effects and poor acting (Anikin, Obi, Palpatine).

    Go Yoda though.

and the neding, what a way to kill it. "Lets lie low until the 'time' comes..."

And the tobots are the best part. I liked the personality... Like r2 shocking one large mega bot, then the bot kicks r2 like they were in grade school.

It took 2 hours to tell me...... nothing?
Crappy writing at the beginning, and Portman's overacting made me cringe. Good movie, but not great.

I'm old enough to remember seeing the first Star Wars in theaters and I remember the acting being just as bad. You guys are killing me with all the negative feedback. For God sakes, it's Science Fiction.

@ Pipe she was the princess.

Personally for me the script was fine, it was the acting, or lack thereof.
I'm torn between saying that Lucas forced them all to take lessons from Shatner (which I find very hard to believe because they are decent actors) or that they dumbed it all down to make it seem like Christensen (Anakin) could act, seeing as he was the point of the film. Honestly if there was some depth and emotion to their acting it could have been a very good film, even moving. This was supposed to be an emotional film, it was supposed to show the corruption of a man. Failing that it should have been an decent action flick. In reality it was just painful. Which is really depressing because it had alot of potential.

i could care less about dialoge and acting, starwars without medicore acting isn't starwars. the only thing i realy disliked - next to the cheesy voices - was the incredible overuse of cgi where statists could have done a far better job. the clone warriors looked good enough for a game intro, but absolutely out of place for the movie.

other then that it was a nice movie, for shure better then ep 1 and 2.

It was the head on the clones that did it ..... I mean all it would of needed was to put the actor in suit! but no lets just badly cut and paste his head on. Addmittidly there was alot of good CGI but surly the focus should have been on the CGI that was in the foreground. R2-D2 and C3PO looked shocking at some stages.

    How to enjoy any movie:

Go into the theater with the lowest expectations possible. Worked for me.

First off, I have to call the guys that didn't like it fags.

You guys who didn't like it? You're some fags.

    There.

Ok, so you want to know more about General Grievous? You have to watch the 'Clone Wars' cartoon. It kinda sucks, sadly. However, the very last episode of the cartoon takes place, literally, seconds before the movie starts. I suggest watching it for that reason alone. It's 'Chapter 25' of the series.

The General should have been kicking ass but instead he was running away from the jedi and ends up dieing so easily ;) . It was a major disappointment. I laughed when: Anakin was sarcasticly happy when he heard the news that padme was pregneant (spelling?), in some parts the Palpitine sounded constipated  , when R2D2 caused some serious ownage on two droids in the beginning, any part with R2D2.

I liked the parts with R2 as well, probably because he was one of maybe 3 non-****ty actors. I was dissapointed by so many things, espescially at the way Obi-Wan sucked the entire time except of course when facing overwhelming odds. I just hated the way everything was put together.

If an aluminum can which bleeps and bloops is among your top 3 actors in a cast of 20+, your movie has issues. While EP3 had the best insane effects of any Star Wars movie, I still prefer the original Trilogy's storytelling & acting. Perhaps I'm just too old for campy lines like "No, you're beautiful because I'm in love with you." or that terrible "Nooooooo!".

If Maul wasn't so stupid, he'd be Sith Lord by now.

That movie was fucking awesome. The parts with padme and anikan together were cheezy, but tolerable. The rest of it was great. A real war going on, a decent explaination of things, it's great.

PS, try to keep spoilers down...
