Look, I'll be the first to extoll the virtues of Inf players. There's very little trash talk in-game, and even not a whole lot of 'taunting' and 'victory dances,' so in general I tolerate the idiots who choose to partake. But nothing sets me off like one little utterance: "Hmmmm."

An example: I was playing on Norwich, trailing another player while crossing the river on the left-hand crossing point. My teammate got picked off by an overwatching opponent at the base of the millhouse, but I had the presence of mind to crouch at the base of the steps, lean and fire a snap burst at the sniper. Mind you, he's a good 30+ meters away, his head a mere two pixels on my screen. One of my three shots connected, and I saw my opponent slump to the ground. After a moment, he gave his editorial critique of my triumph with a single word: "Hmmmm..."

"Hmmm?" HMMMM?!? I make a one-in-a-million, glorious shot and all the acknowledgement I get is 'Hmmm'? Gimme a break. I ask you, what does 'hmmm' mean? Does it mean 'hmmm, this engine suxors, that never should have happened?' Or maybe 'hmmm, I'm better than you, lucky shot'? Surely not 'hmmm, that guy probably has an aimbot'?

Would it kill you to admit that sometimes, in some rounds, the other guy can come out on top? How hard is it to type 't' then 'gj,' 'n1' or maybe even 'great move!' We're all supposed having fun here; don't cheapen anyone's victory or cheat them out of deserved glory because you can't handle losing.

I do that alot, saying hmm or ...
I only do it when I think I did something very stupid, like: missing a shot when I am in an ambush, walking in an open area, walking towards an nme when I know he is waiting for me.

So for me its just blaming myself for getting shot. On the other hand when I get killed and I 'didn't expected it or it was a very nice shot I tell it the guy.

One thing I really hate is when someone shoots 2 whole clips @ you, kills you with his last bullet and somone says n1! or ns!.

I think i say "g1" almost too much. Ask Erehwon. :p

I really like it when people aknowledge the tactics i/we use and plan on AFA#2, even if it is just a co-ordinated 40mm nade spam and rush :)

Sometimes I'll say "..............." but this isn't when someone made a good shot, it's normally when I've fired the best part of 20 rounds at someone with my sights lined up perfectly and not one hit's home, then they turn around, fire one shot from the hip and get a headshot from about 50 yards. I give credit when it's due, but I get pissed off when stuff like that happens

I have seen some WTF, I have no idea why they write that, like they are the best player and cant get killed and when they get killed something is wrong.

I dont care how I get killed, I usually type ARGH, becouse I was stupid enough to get killed, no matter how I got killed.

Cheat, Buggs, Luck, whatever.

I've found generally when people die they look for something to complain about, and if thats 6pk Odie, I'm sure it was some newb given your stature.

The auto-bitching is not helped that for some reason I seem to get a lot of headshots at long range...maybe its the hit detection.

When I die I say 'damn u *insert name* =P' if I feel playful and n1 otherwise. Even if i'm festering internally =P

The must stupid thing.....

Player 1 sits in the middle, eeehhh, somewhere, where everybody can see him.

Player 2 goes all they way to Player 1 and shots him in the back.

Player 2 used the Silenced P90.

Player 1 notice that Player 2 uses the Silenced P90 and Player 1 starts to spam like he was killed becouse Player 2 used the Bugged Silenced P90, Player 1 goes on like if Player 2 had used any other weapon Player 1 would not have died.

The worst part is if a Newbie joins the games and all "vets" goes on like it is common knowledge for everybody that the Silenced P90 is Bugged.

I try to ignore most of it.

A "mute all text" would be nice in 2.87.

Personally, I only type "g1" or whatever if my eyes are popping out in amazement (yeah, I'm an arsehole. Sosueme.) at what the other player did and if the kill wasn't solely down to me doing something really dumb. Perhaps the latter applied in this case?

If it bugs you that much, reply with "hahhahah **** you, PWN3D!"...

My stupidity has nothing to do with your good shot. I'll say both "goddammit" and "g1" if I did something stupid but you made the right move. Often I keep the goddammit to myself, but believe me it's there ;). There's no need for eyepopping badassity, just plain old fashioned good sense is enough to impress me (read that as you will).

Not that I`ve been playing lately...

I usually say n1 if it was a good shot.

"meep meep" is the comment reserved for getting gunned
down by a rusher only moments after game starts.

Sometimes there are lag issues, like some people aren`t
really there anymore when I shoot at them. I hate it, that
usually means I got killed by a guy who was already past
me when I noticed him. And I`m on ADSL!

I think it all depends who you play with. They guys I play with know I repect them and if I say WTF or weird they know I am not degrading their skills but something odd may have happen. Not to say the outcome would be different but just weird.

I do get into trouble with non-regulars but I try to avoid it when possible.

There was 1 incident on Cuban Dawn. I was on the second floor covering my section when some hotshot ran up and fired a M9 at me. I killed him and someone says ns. Then he says "Bull**** I only had an M9 and he an ak What do expect." Well duh don't don't charge with a pistol. It may not have been a NS but the my tactics were sound.

Also many times when they say NS the may be refering to team tactics since I usually do supression fire and recon.
