We haven’t found extraterrestrial life so far with our combined computing power, so what makes them think this will be successful?

They're just ignoring us. If we throw a few more computers on it, I'm sure they'll respond.

Because it doesn't actually cripple the sites, just use bandwidth, it's a legal way to put up their bills.

Still it's a bit disturbing, because the same method could be used to target non-spam sites, such as say, smaller competitors to a large business.

so do I have to face legal consequences IF I use this screensaver? seriously, I get at least 50 spam mails a day on my old email address(which I still use since everybody knows this one) and 5 spammails to my gmail account which I never used to sign up somewhere or posted online or whatever.
I want these ****ing spammers to bleed like the mother****ers that they are.

If we all waited outside our mailboxes and briefly grabbed the delivery people who give us trashmail, slowing them down, we would all get in trouble. Eventually.

    Sucks dont it :(

if he was putting 55 trashmails into my mailbox I'd give him a shrubbign that he'll never forget thus ridding myself of spammail for forever.
