Sonic unreal is currently looking for at least one coder, our current team consists of 4 modelers, 1 animator, 2 level designers, 2 texture artists. 100 slackers.
We plan to release a bonus pack of sonic content included Maps, Player models, Vehicles, Gametype/s! But we need some help.
Once this is completed we are considering developing a total conversion. This will either be a flat out full 3d sonic or sonic game in a 2d perspective, using 3d gfx, when sonic goes through loops and such the camera will spin and bank to awesome effect..
I currently have 2 vehicles i need coded..
This will be practically the same as a manta, except you wont be able to make it crouch down and crush people and it will hover high above the ground than a manta.
For weapons im not decided yet, either it will shoot a pretty powerful laser beam from the front or it will carry a big ball on a chain used to smack into infantry...
Also holding jump will allow it to hover higher in the air for about 5 seconds..
This will play the same as a normal plane, i want it arcadey though, easy to fly. It wont have any guns but a player must be able to stand on the wings and shoot with his normal weapons!
