Looking nice!
2 questions though:
1) What is with the buttstock?
2) What is with the supressors being on just about every weapon?

That GL looks like just the thing for myself and a certain someone (cough rasalom cough).

Great stuff :)
How do you want to implement the bayonet - great thing! - in the game, I mean wouldn't it result in many tks?
Haha, i would love if you could just run into someone with the bayonet instead of having a 'stab' key, of course you just pointed out the flaw in that.

1)What do you mean. Its kinda two versions shown, the AKM and the AKMS, in other words, fixed and folding stock versions. Solid stock version is probaly the one that will be used.
2)Why a suppressor? Well, it has a suppressor so N'KeNnY modelled it, and since he modelled it, it got skinned with it.

Wood could stand to be a bit darker and a bit more on the orange side. Also, perhaps a little glossier and with some worn down spots. Despite the res, the effect can still get through fairly pleasantly. Also, I'm pretty sure that suppressor's way bigger than it's got any right to be. Still, solid work.

Oh, and I love you.

Ecale, got it. I thought it was only the AKMS so I was wondering what the full stock was doing there.

As for the supressors, that 'story' kinda sounds funny :p
I wonder though if the gameplay will suffer because all the supressors of everything, I kinda think it does (mainly because of the perfect supressing done by the supressors) but whatever. AKM woohoo.

folding stocks are quite heavy, being made of metall. the folding stock of the uzi is not much more comfortable then the wooden stock imo.
bulk =! weight
A big gun weighting nothing would still have a high bulk, it is just unhandy.
But there are enough discussions about bulk - what it is exactly - in this forum.

thats why i mentioned the uzi as an example, the only time the folding stock had any advantage was when working in tight areas where you don't want to get stuck all the time with your gun's stock. in combat situations the folding stock was unfolded all the time, as for normal walking it didn't make any difference and you don't have the time to unfold it once you are shot at.

Here is a pic of an AK with suppressor, looks about right eh?
I stand corrected. I could've sworn that it was closer in size to the M4/M16 QD, but I guess not. Still stand my critique of the skin, though.

Also, I think about the only reason for including both stocks, considering how such things barely make a difference ingame, is aesthetics. And I'm a huge fan, mind you, but really, I'm not sure it's worth the extra work here.

We have plans for the suppressor sounds ;).

Don't forget the blast coming off of the gas ports.

As for the model, very nice.
