You are asking for advice from people who enjoy wearing all black or real tight leather pants. :D Your best bet is to just goto a shoe store and walk around and see if you find anything you like. If you are just looking for something basic then it shouldn't be to hard, you most certaintly don't need the interent to help. :)

But then where would all the lively banter go?

I recommand these. Practical, sturdy, and I dunno, good for boomerang practice or something.

You act like I don't like to wear all black and real tight leather pants. :)
    Not that I do!
The point of me asking is because I don't like to walk around at shoe stores, I get bored really quickly and end up buying just anything because I get tired of being there. I was hoping some bored person on the boards might suggest something to save me the trouble of looking or ... putting forth effort.

Boots you say? I got my pair from these guys, and they've lasted for well over two years :) They've got some rather nice women's boots that might catch your fancy.

I like Brooks or for a cheaper alternative, New Balance. You can find them just about anywhere, and figure out which style you have Here

Since you're showing tennis/running shoes to start with, those are my favorites on those. My last pair of shoes were Brooks, and were the most comfortable I've ever owned, and wore them just about every day for about a year. They're still more than wearable, but really nasty.

This thread's going to be a magnate for foot fetishists...

beer - that's a seriously sweet store there man  I'd be tempted to take a closer look if they didn't charge $60 for delivery...

I usually go for synthetic hike boots when it comes to footwear, because they're solid, they last and they're comfortable. My currently wear a pair of Berghaus GTX, very nice boots:

You know, for some reason I never understood the foot fetish thing. Then again, many fetishes cannot really be explained...

I've just ordered myself a pair of k-swiss. As soon as I get them I'll report back.
The only important things are looks and how long the material stays relatively clean(blue suede's prolly a bitch to keep clean). So sneakers are usually your best option.
