Some ideas I wanted to share with you guys.

1) Additional commands for the bots that are covering you. For example:
-covering fire (bot(s) would fire for some
time towards the direction you are heading
-move to spot/leap frog (bot(s) would move
towards the point you are aiming at if reasonable and stay put.
As it is now, you have to be 'point' yourself
and use the voice command 'stay put' (don't remember the exact wording)
-ambush (bot(s) would wait for signal before firing (signal could be your own gun shot or when shot upon)

-would be great if bots would kneel when staying put, also would be nice if you could
command your team (covering bots) to kneel, go prone etc

I'd love to be able to use the infiltration weapons as a mod so I could play with these
weapons in other type of games like slavemaster etc. Maybe there is a trick to this?

Well, enough for this time. I tried to read
through the boards, roadmap etc but don't
think these things have been discussed before. If they are covered in previous posts I'm sorry.

Infiltration is superb mod, I'm having a lot of fun with it! Keep up the most excellent work!

there won't be new commands in the nest time because the bots aren't from inf but from ut ... i hope there will be special bots for inf in some weeks.. months.. years /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think the bot AI will be tweaked in V3.0 so that the bots act more like a team.
They will cover you and eachother without any commands by you.

Those are some good ideas though, Kee... I hope they are implemented sometime in the (probably distant) future. But one thing- you don't HAVE to be point, you can just give your men an order like attack or search and destory, and then follow them around, that way they take the blunt of the ambush and not you.

Maybe I should start to post more ideas.

As you said DeadeyeDan, you can follow your bots into combat. I just wish they would move and stop, move and stop like (if you get the point). Now they just run their usual paths etc (which ain't bad or anything just a bit predicatable) (and I am aware this is a UT specific feature /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )

nevermind the rest, saw a post on troubleshooting about the issue....

But how about using infiltration weapons with other game types? I only tried slavemaster one evening just before the latest release of infiltration and liked the mix (not realistic or anything but a lot of fun for me /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ) and now it is not possible.
So, any trick to get it to work again?
