My Dad's a DesignTech Teacher, and generally during the holidays he along with the other teachers get to take home various toys, since all they'll be doing otherwise is collecting dust... This time we got the projector. Nothing too fancy, a Hitachi CP-S235.

But damn I was going to have me some fun with this badboy! :D

We originally set it up in mine and my brother's room.
Oblivion in action. And setting up Xbox Live.

The fun really started when I had a whole weekend to myself, what with my family going away.

Time to set it up downstairs and hook it up to my PC.

Then invited a couple of mates round (who are pinching stuff from my fridge ;|), fired up the Xbox360, opened a few beers and started gaming. We also set up a 5.1 Surround system that cost us £25 from ALDI. Total bargain.

Played a couple rounds of UT2004 and watched a couple movies.

I'm now just browsing the internet before I have to get up tomorrow and take this monster down before the folks get home in the afternoon. :(

I'm now actually posting this sat on my couch. :) Later on I'll most probably stick some porn on. ;)

So yeah. all in all... Good fun.

Ha sorry to disappoint beeb, just a regular 3some porn kinda man here ;)

And yeah it's always messy, it was actually a lot worse if you can believe that, I changed to a higher resolution and all my icons got smushed upwards as a result.

That's pretty nice Sharktank (although Beeb's right, nice clean desk tops are where it's at).

My mate has a projector for his 360 and we usually have a session once a week or so with a few of us round at his house. Usually CoD2 and Perfect Dark Zero on co-op.
Thing is though, in a darkened room with the whole of one wall as a screen, I end up getting real bad motion sickness after an hour or so :(

@Kantham: He's not moving to make the picture blurred, its just that he's taking it in a dark place and not using the flash which results in a long exposure time...even a little camera tremble while the shutter is open is going to make the photo blurred.
But they are only snaps to illustrate a point, it's not really worth setting the tripod up, so why don't you give the guy a break?

Set down the Exp. to -1/ -2. Works for me. Not night time capture

so why don't you give the guy a break?

I guess he have whole weekend break so why we should give more break to a person who already has a break?

To combat this, put a black cloth in front of the lens and use an exposure with a little longer time on it. This way, the shutter shake will only register on the blackout object, and after the shutter fires, remove the cloth. No more blur from shutter movement.
