Ok... we all know that i hate to be the 1 starting another "can we have this gun" or "when's it due" type of string but check this out=)

i'm expecting alot of negative feedback, jsut as in real life when an effective weapon get's replaced but, fearing little in the way of making myself look like an A$$ (didn't say it /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif

can wee chuck my trusty friend the robar and replace him with the barret .50 cal? now mind you the robar is my trusty friend on all large area's... and he never fails you 2.7x or 2.6, (even when the sight was off it was still a mean weapon, see if ya aimed 4 the crotch ya got a headshot so, i'll quit there /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif

anyways, i love my robar but the barret is just fricking AWSUME(spelled)!!!

1. It's too late to start modelling a totally new weapon.

2. A 10-shot semiautomatic .50 cal rifle with a 10 power scope would not be very fair to those lugging around a P90 or Krinkov.

I agree with the INF-team.
I prefer the PSG because you still can fire it from the hip and kill a bot due to its semi-auto capability. With the Robar you only got one chance, cause if you miss the first, you're dead meat.
A semi-auto .50 cal would be quite 'unfair' - execpt you'd restrict the ammo amount and fire rate as well as increasing the price of it.
After all if there would be a Barret nobody would use the PSG anymore.

Especially since a NIB Barrett costs less than a used PSG-1.

...and in my totally unbiased opion /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif is a far better weapon for the money as well. (But only if you want to take out charging tyrannosauri, HMMMWVs, or small aircraft) For portability and managability, the PSG has the definite edge...

A) wouldn't happen
B) would severly give heavy snipers the edge

btw charging aircraft you would never hit unless it was something along the lines of a flying at sub 160mph...
