As a mutie why not. Haven't played enough yet to make better judgement. (only 2 online session, some 14 hours in two evenings...).
Actually, it might be an excellent idea. The rammifications (is that english by any chance?) would most likely be of promoting teamplay nature than anything negative. You'd want to really be sure of where your teammates are all the time.
I like it.

depends on the respawns. with many many respawns it may be ok, but if there are only a few its not only the TKer that gets punished, its also the Team that looses another man after the TK. TKs can happen.

Well, I think it is not meant that both the killer and the victim get one respawn left, but only the killer.

So if you are tked with 3 respawns left, you will still have 3 after you respawned.

this is a teamgame, if the killer looses one respawn, the team looses one respawn. you punish also the team.

No, you dont LOSE a respawn.

As it is now, the killed will have one respawn lost.
Suggested now is, that instead of the victim, the killer should lose the respawn, so there is no actual respawn loss for the Team.

So the killed don't "die" when it's a TK? How is it a team kill if they don't die? If they do die, then the do lose a respawn. Taking one away from the person who did the team killing effectively takes away two respawns from the team as a whole at this point, punishing the team. ;)

Allthough I didn't make the suggestion, I think, the one killed should die and the tker should stay alive, BUT the respawn of the killed should be taken from those of the killer, if thats possible...

Er..perhaps it is good at it is after all :)
Given it a bit of a thought and there are some problems that might even become abusive on the long run..

I guess the shame of the red skull is enough anyway :)

Well, atleast in publics its annoying if you enter game and get tk'd 2-3 times in row while trying to get to the objective, which you do; look the game finish for 20min or switch server? Tho reinforcements help in this but its still annoying imho. In a match ofcourse this mutie wouldn't be of use.

But I'm ok with a mutie or no mutie :).

Good idea, why the red skull then? It is the same as committing suicide (you kills your future life) and you do not get red skull for that. The only way it could be abused is that less skilled players would finnish off skilled veteran (if he is obviously going to die w/o doing any harm to the opponent) to gain "skilled reinforcement" instead of their own, however I guess on publics it would not happen as the main interest of every player is to play.
And what about TK when you have no reinforcement left? You could not be reasonably punnished...

I for something to punish TK. I often die because I try to identify my target before pressing the trigger. A lot of people do the opposite. Humm maybe binoc can be very usefull too. Since some times I prefer not to fire because I don't kow if my target is in my team

I like this idea a lot. Another idea is that the TKer would have to wait two waves to respawn the next time. So if respawns are every 30 sec, the TKer would have to wait 60 sec to respawn the next time he died. (kinda like a little "timeout" )

Also, you should get a gold skull if you TK the CD carrier.

Indeed. If you still havn't learned to manipulate the Matrix to stop the incoming bullets it's your fault alone. :D

Seriously though. The so called 'Rambos' rarely teamkill. Why is that? Because they run off to the enemy, and when a bunch of people comes in and sees some random guy running towards them there is a big chance he will get teamkilled.

I believe it's largly the fault of te Rambo for not telling his team where he is, and what he is doing.

Also, alot of teamkills happen because of LOF. And just about every time that happends, it's your own damn fault.

Let's not punish every single teamkill because of the relative rare occasion where the teamkiller has all the blame.

How bout a TK doesn't count against the dead person's reinforcements. Nor does it count against the alive person's reinforcements. I mean hey, **** happens. Get over it.

However, keep the 3 tk boot limit in.
