I'm dabbling around with the Unreal Editor, and I'd like to make a map floating in space, a la the old CTF-Face and say, the Longest Yard from Quake. However, putting in a skydome only results in just a dome, and looking over the edge gives the player the weird visual glitch of repeating textures or whatever. What's the best way to add some kind of "sky-sphere" for the map to reside within? Any help would be appreciated.

The way your adding the mesh is the correct way. Easiest thing you could do is just duplicate the top part of the dome flip it and move it down so that the bottom is now covered in a sky mesh as well. Other wise if you could make a sky sphere mesh and just do it that way :D
