Actually the scale of the weapons always has seemed (to me at least) a little on the overly large side. Will this be addressed? Also mappers, will your maps have tables at waist height, or extending up to neck level /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ???

Repairman Jack, try mapping, then you'll understand that scaling is possibly the hardest thing to do.

RaekwoN out.

I know it's not easy, but some mappers have it down cold like John Falgate.

RaekwoN, you probably already do this, but I find it very easy to scale when i put a bot into the level. This gets correct hight and width for the most part. And Repairman_Jack, you could always fix them and play them in a botmatch. ahhh! the voice of wisdom /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What is life sized seems small in 1st person, so either the "others" are to small (Deathmatch in Unreal), or you feel claustrophobic. Since you don't move very fast in Infiltration, you'r more willingly to accept 1:1 scale.

Using a bot as model is very effective, til you know the measurement and can map without. However the Engine is optimiced for over sized environments, and small details makes the demon inside angry.
To illustrate: The height of a real table is just so high that you don't automatically step up on it!. Weird things happen when you work below the 4 unit grid (Myscha advices not to).
