Sidewinder Joystick wont turn L or R

My Sidewinder Pro wont turn left or right. All other programmable buttons on the joystick work. Joystick is on (calibrates OK0, and turned on in the game.

go into preferences and scroll all the way down .It is set to strave (x or y axis and i can t rememeber ) and you need to change it then the joystick works great. Took me a while to figure it out but it does work ....
