I've noticed in my INF that my empty mags don't stay on the ground like the empty cases do. I have the bodies set for 3mins, and shell casings for 5mins. But when i reload my empty gun, the empty mag vanishes straight away. I remember a long time ago the mags used to stay for as long as the shells.

Is there a mutie that causes this?

I can't find a setting in the menues for them, i always thought it it was the shells setting. My PC is unpluged ATM so later today i'll post mu .ini files and list my Performance settings.

I know i use my D3D Driver, and my Res is 1024x768x32. would this be it?

Can someone PLEASE help? I would really love to have my empty mags lying around in the shells for ages!

UN_Decalstay is a small little mutator that keeps decals, grenade pins/spoons, empty magazines, blood and other decals. It makes a good round of EAS look pretty damn awesome after a good fire fight. Low-end systems beware though... I didn't make any options for duration, etc. It's a 20 line bit of code that sets things not to expire. Khutan's Decalstay in 2.86 was much, much more advanced but it broke for 2.9 because it's a hack, and hacks aren't allowed. What I mean by hack is that it replaces your clientside HUD to keep decals and other spawned stuff according to how you set it, without interfering with other players since everything was done clientside.

It would be possible to do another decalstay mutator that had such customization and didn't work as a clientside hack but an actual mutator. But a good deal of time is required to code it. I saved myself the hours of work and went with the "keep everything" method. :)

 Reminds me of my early days in tech support where the client calls up and says she can't see anything on the screen. "Is the monitor on?" "Oh..."

Well i've tried woth DecalStay on at the top of the list and it didn't do anything. You think it should be at the bottom of the list?

edit: Nope, that didn't work either, when i reload while looking down, i see the mag drop, but it just looks like it falls through the ground. Any suggestions? Is there anything that cancels out DecalStay? How would i re-arrange the mute list to fix this?
