Shareware version fix

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I decided to upload this fix which in the original 205 shareware version makes you not load the final level, dark arena. As you may know, the dark arena is altered to include harobed and there is supposed to pop out the Order Unreal menu, but that doesn't happen becaue they forgot to include class oemend in the shareware version. Here is a fix:

Btw, for non CD use you don't have to apply any crack, you just have to select full install and remove the CD references from the ini, the CD paths or simulate it, by changing CDPath to your new unrealspecial directory. It always worked for me, if it doesn't, you are doing it wrong. In the shareware CD it was at F:\UNREAL\ (F is my DVD drive) originally.

Here is a fast video playthrough through shareware version of dark arena, using the fix. I don't know how it is at the standalone shareware version, but in this one Epic forgot to include the update UnrealI.u file having the OEMEnd class. So I had to make a fix to be able to play Dark Arena at the original.
