Server back up!! With New Maps and Cars!!

Hey everyone .. the server is back up and running again with the new maps and car!! For some reason RL_Suicide and RC_Subway would crash the server so untill I figure out why those maps are currently off the voting list. However all the other new maps and car are now on the server so enjoy!!! As always.. here is the info if you dont already have it:

Could you say why Suicide crashed the server? I would be interested in knowing

Both those maps were missing a texture file or something so everytime I tried to play the map it would disconnect me and while it did this I was looking at the server console and saw it say something was missing and it would just goto the next map in the cycle (however disconecting everyone in the process). I installed every file correctly that were in the zip and rar files. My guess is something needs renamed. I had to NOT follow your directions for the car serverpackage name as it was named wrong in the directions so perhaps someone misnamed the texture file those maps use or maybes its case sensitive.

just wondering, did this also fix the problem you were haveing running "Ocean Run"? I noticed you removed that map from the server becouse it kept crashing it.
You know what, "Ocean Run" runs on Jerdago's server, ask him if he had any troubles getting it to run...He might be able to send you the "missing" file....

^ Ya... next time I see him on MSN I will. Its probably the same issue im getting on 2 of the new maps. I'll also try renaming things tomorrow if I have time and see if that helps fix the problem as im sure its something as simple as that!

Ok, took me two hours of searching, but the offending mesh was 'StaticMesh'SC_FrothStuff.Ring.FrothRing'. There are times when UT2004 can really get under your skin!!!!!!!!!! I will have a new version up tomorrow.

What was the problem preventing the site from getting server info from it? I see it came back without me doing anything, so it must have been something in the server setup?

and most of time , when we start to play inside a map , we need to re-join the game to play , that is just to weird

Ahh .. I fixed that yesterday. The server name was to long (I had added a part that said "New maps and Cars"). So I just put the name back to what it was

i re-downloaded the map (UWRC-Suicide) , the file size is obliviously the same ...
