I work Tech Support at the local ISP. "Ahhh, yes... Sir, i hate to say this but your BLT drive is malfunctioning. Bring your box up here, and I'll have it back to you before the day's over." Hehe, I LOVE my job. $19.00 an hour to to sit on my ass and listen to other people's problems... For the first time, life is good:)

Damn, $19 an hour huh? ::considers a new line of work::

Hehe, yeah the forum programmers REALLY need to think about making the POST icon go away when you are in a thread.

I used to work tech support. I hate it. But there was one time I fixed a guy's MS Exchange server on windows NT and then properly configured his aliases and fixed his dedicated 128k ISDN line in 6 minutes.

I was proud of myself. Though I never got a promotion, or a raise. I was pissed. So I quit in the middle of my shift =).

Well, i got to work "late" this morning... I got into a bad wreck on the way there, totaled out my jeep. goddamned cow was around a corner, i was going about 65... hit it, and still slid a good 20 feet into a tree. that's it for that. the cows owner was pissed, hell he shouldn't have let the cow get out, it was HIS fault. i let him know it, too. he called the cops, they agreed. i mean, it wasn't MY cow i hit... well, after i got back home at 6:00, i called my boss... she didn't give a rat's ass. i got fired. now all i have for transportation is my motorcycle. i'm wondering if its still street legal. i know the exhaust isn't. who cares anymore. i'm tired, cranky, and my bulgarian ak (5.56) is still broke. anyone got any krinkov parts they wanna give away? *falls asleep at keyboard. drools*

Thing is, I'd been warned about coming in late twice before, and, i didn't call until about 6:00, so not showing up WOULD have been a justified reason, had i not been in an accident. screw 'em, there's WAY more places to work around here, and closer. i was driving an hour to get there everyday. F* that, I'll work at Dairy Queen if i have to. I'm not letting those Commie bastards get me down. *picks up phone book and looks for local dairy queen*
