SCNDSK screen glitch, what's it indicate?!?

Any guess as to what might cause this?

It's from a scndsk of a system that just had a scndsk that showed no problems, and fresh from a WindowsXP home install (pre SP1) no updates at all.

 

Do you see that only in scandisk? Or do you see it in the begining start-up screens too??

 

If you schedual a scandisk then this is normal.
If you had some issues booting up then this will happen automatically.

Its just checking the integredy of your hard drive and files. It doesnt do anything in depth.

 

I thought he was talking about the corrupted screen.

 

No, I mean what does the horizontal lines of glitched pixels mean?

I scheduled the scandisk. It's been giving some "Cleaning up X unused index entries from index $SII[or $SDH]" type messages.
