Review: CTF/e

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

True Balance
Whenever you play an online game, teams are a problem most of the time. There is always someone not willing to switch to even the teams, so many times, online experiences turn into bad ones since the teams are unbalanced. Instead of yelling at people saying things like "Teams ppl," play on a server that has CTF/e on it. Now, teams will most likely be balanced, and there are things that cause other players to balance teams. One of them, for instance, is that if the teams are unbalanced, then the person who balances the teams gets 20 frags, health powerups, and other enhancements selected by the admin. There are advanced features as well, like showping, advanced zoom, new team talk commands, spectator modes, etc, etc

Online and offline
CTF/e was not really meant to be played with bots, but with the addition of Titans in the newer version, botplay is incredibly fun.. Titans are incredibly good bots that show up whenever a team is murdering the other team. It makes CTF games more balanced, and it even makes CTF fun for the losing team since the losing team could end up winning with some help.

Also, this mutator is excellent for online CTF games since it allows so much customizability. The bottom line is that CTF/e should be included on every CTF server.
