After having countless PC issues lately, I chose to give Unreal Gold a fresh reinstall. Anyhow, I obvioulsy chose to back-up my Saved Game Folder and then transfer everything back into the game from where I had left-off.

Well, unfortunately the Unreal program isn't reading the previous Save Folder - even though it's clearly visible. Now, I've used this exact same method to transfer game saves from UT 2004 (among others) and everything worked perfectly.

Has anyone else possibly had this issue with their Unreal Saves? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

You mean it's not showing up in the menu? The save slots would be in User.ini, so if you didn't back that up, all the slots will be empty in the menu. I think they should still load the saves if they're there. If not, you need to open the saves from the console then save them again so they show up. Quickload opens Save9.usa. For the others, type, e.g., "open ../Save/Save0.usa", then save to a slot in the menu. That ought to work.

Thanks for the help. Well, I tried messing around with the console commands but couldn't get anything to read properly. However, I did find another alternative that seems to work. I went to these save files and right clicked "Open with" and then picked Unreal Gold.

Anyhow, each saved file is then transmitted to the game and let's me play from where I left-off. I was able to retrieve a few files from my furthest point, so everything's okay for now and there's no need to start over from the beginning. Thanks again for the help!
