I know it's still a bit early, but seeing that there has been a "trailer" made for the game, does anyone out there have a good idea of what the PC requirements will be to play?

Please not another BF2--missed that one by 1 step on the vid card

Oh well...I found UT as a result...and like it better personally anyway.

Thanks,

Rockett

P.S.--Not going to kill anyone if they're a bit off, I just have no clue about the new engine.

War Tourist posted the specs of the machine that played the demo:

Single Core P4 3.8
2 gigs Ram
single 256mb Nvidia 7800

or something like that

[edit]
Here's exactly what he posted at INA:

"It was a P4 3.8 single core, on a single 256 meg nvidia 7800 gtx with 2 gigs of system RAM running at 1024x768."

keep in mind though, that was just the demonstration, on a fairly small map.
(but it ran smooooooth)

The minimum video card would be any one that supported pixel shader2.0

Interpolating from the previous games, and the above, as well as adding in a "comapatability factor" i'd say the game would need 512mb of ram, and around 2ghz Single core.

Single AMD Ahtlon 64 3800+ Or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Dualcore.

Dual GeForce 6600 SLI Minimum. Single Geforce 6800 SLI.
And with Dual 6800 U can run the game on highest quality Smoothly. "i got orginal proof of Epic Games"i got a coupon of UnrealEngine 3".

I checked the tech specs of GeForce 6800 vs. 7800, you'll be dissappointed to know that the 7800 is only a third faster than a 6800...

The game could probably run on a P4 2.4 GHz with a Geforce 4 and 512 MB of RAM (lowest quality).

My current P4 3.2GHz with a 6800 and 2Gigs of 400MHz RAM will probably run the game pretty decently.

I want AGEIA (but its rediculously expensive for a "physics" processing unit).

It seems UE3 relies heavily on Pixel Shader 3.0 and since my PC only have AGP ill have to wait for ATI:s R520 (FUDO) or buy an "old" PS 3.0 nvidia card. (7800 will be PCI-Express only)

R520 being more obviously... I said 6+, this includes ATI cards that are stronger than a GeForce 6800

I will not buy a new vid card till after the game release. Reason is that in 2006, all the future gen games and hardware is coming out. 2006 seems to be the year for a lot of major projects, ie UT2007, Windows Vista, and I've heard of many more, just not gona make a list, :p

I'm waiting for the demo like any sane person would do. If the specs to run it decently are too high I'm just gonna stick to Q4.
