I have played both INF and SWAT, and both have different things going for them. I do realize that INF 2.75 came out a "little" while before SWAT so it is not fair to say "Just because one mod has it, why doesn't the other?"
My favorite mod still is still INF. Online play is smoother (less lag) and my frames per sec is higher in INF (of course the maps are smaller in INF). But I am stuck. I saw how the ladders work in SWAT; and I saw how to create them. I want to use them in my map, but I feel my map is better suited for INF than SWAT. To take SWAT's ladder code is unjust and unfair. But if INF was to have some ladders in the next release.... Besides, my map is still about a month away (at least). (Hey, i take my time!)
Just tonite, I had [SOB]Bone (and there is a random forum running around on how to pronounce 'Bone') help me with the lighing. he did a terrific job. Hat's off to Bone!!!
I did look back in the forums for mention of ladders as requested features, but didn't see any posts. (this statement is for those of you who are shouting at me to read the forums before I type hehehehehehehe)
But besides my request, EXCELLENT MOD guys!!!!
