removing parts of deathmatch gametype

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the pregame parts of deathmatch such as the timer to countdown. Also when the map ends how do you make it go to a different map (menu) instead of a new map? This is in ut2004

were is the bQuickstart=true located if you dont mind me asking ? ive been trying to figure out how to remove the ingame intro timer for awhile any suggestions on where i could find more information on how to manipulate this ? thanks for any help really appreciate it

would it be easier to just make your own gametype and not include the deathmatch properties in unreal ? cuz im not interested in the deathmatch properties thats why i just it to load into the level so i can run around in it:lol:
