Recovering more stuff

I am trying atm to recover more stuff, I tried to contact Crista Forest
http://forest.planetunreal.gamespy.com/ for the steele dawn free addon http://web.archive.org/web/20020627091704/www.planetquake.com/infinity/sd.html and also for the unreleased shadow warrior expansion she worked for.

So far both of her emails, that I digged out, didn't work...I might try more people, but this seems almost impossible now.

Well, the emails I sent were returned back, since both her adresses didn't work anymore, so I have to try someone else.

I am also trying to recover the old expansion for Unreal, the official one aside rtnp, but no luck in that, I contacted someone about it, but no response, aside Eric Reuter's one, but he doesn't have the stuff, nor he remembers details anymore.

I am afraid it will be hard to recover. Any help is appreciated, I am kinda alone on this.

When I get a free minute later tonight when I get home, I'll join in on the search to recover it.

I'd also be willing to setup a sub domain on ut-files.com for Unreal; I've already begun one for Unreal Tournament 2004. http://ut2004.ut-files.com but it's coming along slowly.

What all do you have already and where are you storing them?

Only Unreal PSX stuff was recovered yet and it is on its track to be recovered more, but time is needed. As for now, I can handle it fine I guess, the PSX stuff at least, but about the stuff I said here, dunno if I can, but I will try, if I will fail, then I guess I will need some help, if someone knows anyone else who might know more about those projects.

EDIT: Contacting Ryan Isenberg failed as well.....I will try who is next, but it doesn't seem so good so far.

If correct i do have all files somewhere from the site from Crista Forest, but no clue where, but i will add it to my todo list. But in any case i should have it somewhere since i never throw anything away. But it only is stuff that was linked to the site, i never persued stuff that only was mentioned on the site. So those wont be in my collection.


I know for sure i have the maps because i already found those back, but without the texture packages. But i know i downloaded those in the past as well. The main problem is is, i cant find anything back because i run Vista. And in Vista you cannot search for files anymore in the explorer. So i gotta do it by hand somehow................

Are you sure it is the same Crista Forest? Well, I can try it, thx.
And I beleive I had those maps as well of her, these which she had on the site. But Steele Dawn was team project and it was never released.

Yeah the read me from one of the txt files has info on her site which is http://www.foreststudios.com But if you go to that site you are redirected to http://www.forestwildlifeart.com so i am pretty much 100% convinced it really is her site.

And if she doesnt have the files, you can ask her if she still has names and/or contact info from the team members.

Alright, I am waiting for response, I will let you know if I managed to contact her. As for the contact info on the other members, I have their contacts, I tried two other persons aside Crista from Level infinity, but none of their contacts worked, I will be trying later more of them, if Crista doesn't respond (I just noticed I've been misspelling her name before).

No response yet (well, but I will keep waiting, since it is not that long since I contacted her) and it seems most of other contacts from them (level infinity, etc) is not working as well. These are way too old to be still working, sigh....

And as said your not alone, it took me over 2 years to find the guy back that i needed to contact. And i found him about a month and a half ago(finally lol). And he promised to go look for the data i wanted. And last week i got a mail from him, he was still looking for the data but no luck so far.


I guess i am lucky that my "victim" at least tries to do his best......


But you have to be patience and try again once in a while, and dont forget we still like this game, while most people we contact; For them its like ancient history that they left behind far in the past........

Depends on where she is, but I don't want to do that, due to money and I never did that before, sending real letters out of country. And the publishers don't exist anymore I believe.
