Hello,

I'm here looking for people who is interested in a gaming project over the next few months/year in producing something exciting that can be used also as a learning curve to the less experienced Unity users. Currently looking for Visual Arts/Character modeling designers, Scripters and Roleplaying types who enjoy writing lore based pieces.

I'm a 11 year Ultima Online vet, i have played multiple games suchs as WoW, Darkfall, Mortal Online, Warhammer, Aion, APB etc...

My vision is to try and create a multi player (LAN) / Single player game based on Ultima Online with a Morrowind feel.

I love the concept of morrowind, and I'm a huge fan of Ultima Online but its 2d and dead. Darkfall attempted it but changed direction early on, and mortal online is a slow horse. So, I'm willing to give it a crack after I.T class hours.

This will take extensive hours on lore from each NPC, Cities/dungeons created, Website development and Game development with map creation, scripting, GUI interface, character/npc modeling etc.

If you're interested simply reply to this thread or e-mail me on ice-cat25@hotmail.com

KEEP IN MIND this may or may not be a success, but be prepared for time consuming efforts. This is not a project for the light hearted and lack of interest.

World Lore and Skills Update. (This may be subjected to change during development and is a base description of what to expect. The lore is hand written and doesn't feature from any other website.)

Citys –

Jarmarl: With lava pouring around the edges of this volcanic island, the centre remains a village of thieves. The locals are Thains who dislike outsiders, who protect their walls with gigantic towers manned by archers around the whole region. While it is tightly secure, there is always one way in.

The outskirts contain limited tree’s and forms a desert outback where it is very easy to get lost in the sands and never return.

New Trinwood: Formed in the memory of a old Elven called Trinwood. The city had to re-locate after an orc invasion many years ago. Once started as an empty wasteland site, New Trinwood is now surround by a huge forest and many rivers. The buildings are now placed in trees to avoid more attacks and there isn’t any lighting at nightfall.

Vespean: A pure icebound snowy region of Perrez. Vespean has been the home of men, woman and children for hundreds of years. A place where they could build a home, work during the day chopping trees while the youngsters played in the snowy forest. A humble quiet resort where men were free...

Until now...

Orcs rampage through the village from time to time, turning any human in sight into just another bone pile on the path. The white snow is stained in blood... the screams from an innocent girl hiding in a basement as the savage leader hoists the family home’s door off it’s hinges echo right down to the city gates.

As dusk turns to daylight, the snow begins to glow... and the warfare continues.

Grug’murk:
Surrounded by gloomy smog and wet swamplands is a region called Grug’murk. Infested by green brutes, this tattered and worn environment was once owned by a small elven colony. With constant warfare and death plaguing the region, the small elven army was over-run by a great orcish force destroying and killing anything within sight.

It was formerly named after a Elven man by the name of “Trinwood”, until vicious Orcs from the Murk clan claimed this land and left the Elven leader in a cell to rot after burning down most buildings, and slaying the locals. Some say his bones still lay there waiting to be buried in the new city named after him.

Anvail: “Where the rock lays, the ore shall come” Says the Dwarven Blacksmith Armeth Truzen. Anvail was named after a flock of Dwarven miners who re-locate every few years depending on the ore flow. Surrounded by mountains in a industry setting, Anvail is a busy trading hot-spot for travellers looking to buy sturdy weapons from the Dwarven colony. The stench from the lower grounds can sometimes make one weak at the knees... perhaps that’s why they sell their wares for expensive price.

Ra’Goth: Is somewhat empty during the day, and often the only place that isn’t deserted is the Cemetery located directly in the centre of this landmark. But at night, is when the streets are filled with vile creatures. The Undead colony is similar to humans... only lack of skin, poor English and lack of awareness during daylight. The rumour around Ra’Goth is, while it’s easy to come here alive... It’s even easier to stay here dead.
