realy important and Easy to do server admins

im pissed when i play infiltration and everytime im on a server i play the same maps in the same order. PLEASE UNSORT THE MAPLIST ! im tired of playing the same maps over and over , then all the custom maps are close to each others.

note that the standart maplist is almost in the SAME order.

and most others servers like MUF have the same order. so its realy boring . when you play stalingrad you then play ruin then pankisi its annoying. and it realy takes 3 min to unsort it

here , DS maps are not packed togheter , as well as custom maps (drywater is in the middle, avignon to, and standart map are a bit unsorted)

I am using Game Switcher now days to switch between EAS and Specialist. I would think this would mess up my mutie (however I am not to sure about this). In any case I try to rotate maps out of GD and put new ones in. I try my best to keep GD fresh and fun. Sometimes I do good, sometime I f*ck it up. ;)

BTW Vega: Thanks for the good words about GD's Map list. I really to work hard on the server.

Maps can easily be moved up or down in the webadmin and also randomized, of course. Using the randomize function exposes you to the risk of playing the same map 2 times in a row or with just one or a few maps inbetween.

The webadmin puts the maps in alphabetic order when several maps are moved to a template at the same time. That's the reason why some servers have more or less the same maps in the same order.

Nope it doesnt, the way Gameswitcher works is that when the map is changed, it searches that particular map from the Gameswitcher list and selects the game mode accordingly.

Tho I prefer to do the "randomizing" myself by hand. I also try to think variation to the map sizes, day/night so that there isn't many huge maps in row and vice versa.
