    Hello.

    For the first, I wanna tell about modification.

    Realistic UT Modification, is modificatin, which main idea is to make UT2004 more beautiful.
    Also, there must be new gametypes, maybe new characters, and new weapons(added to default weapon types).

    About graphics:
    We(Join Unreal Development) want to use completed graphical effects(mutators), like bloom.
    Also, we remaking textures, and adding bump maps(or pseudo-bump maps :) ).

    Yeah, we rly need members, but also good hints to create detailed textures (ours are washed up, they only look good in a small scaling...). :rolleyes:
    Any hints to create good looking, detailed (3D faked) textures in UeD3??

    1. New Sound effects(weapons, ambient, etc...).
    2. New Weapon Skins.
    3. New graphical effects and "eye candies"(like emitters and other effects).
    4. New Gametypes.
    5. New Player skins, and, maybe, new characters.
    6. New music themes.
    7. New interface(HUD).

    A little update

    We changed bump-maps type.
    Now it is normal maps.
    Don't beleive in that? Public UE2 don't support normal-maps?

    Okay guys, we gonna freeze the project because of too few members and interests, what really decreased our motivation. That does not mean that RUT is dead and we absolutely stop working on, but we will keep on working with a slow progres (I hope).
    Sorry, but we really do NOT want to waste time and make RUT for nothing. :(

    @TurdDrive,
    we don't really know, we haven't get "real" feedback or sth. like endorsements or support up to know. Only silence and bad feedback from some of the German community. :rolleyes:

    That's why we are not sure about the sense of our work... :(

    However, I gonna upload our "Rankin.real" demonstration (as *.7z). It uses the bumpmap method, that looks pretty good, but is not up to date, because in the final modpack there will be special normalmaps, which look ways better in a higher scaling. :D

    So you don't need any files to play Rankin.real. :lol:
