Real CFT and other mods that arn't really mods...

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

What is Real CFT? (Did i get that right?) Also what are all the other mods I read about, and are they and what do they have to do with INF, if anything? I've been to there site but I just don't understand what they are.
I'm new to computers so use 'baby talk' if the answer is complicated.

Ok. I have to respond to this. You are joking, right? Well, if you are not:

'Mods' are modifications of the standard Unreal game and Gametypes. Infiltration is a mod, Real CTF is a mod, U4e is a mod, etc... If you don't understand what they are talking about on their hopepages, I would suggest you get a wild hair- and download the mods and play! That's the surest way to get to know and understand a mod.

Duhh...ok. Thanks a lot.

Why don't I just go and download them!! What a great idea...(ahaaaa)

I know what a mod is, but thanks for answering my ? (not)

Do you know what I hate...People that talk down to me. If you can't answer the ? then shut the f__k up ok. I'm not a freakin' moron, I just had a simple ?.

Maybee I don't have time to download all of the mods. Another thing is, when I install more than 2 or 3 mods at a time I have problems playing the game. Soooooo...I have to uninstall the mods and the game then re-install INF all over again. (that really sucks) So let me re-ask the ?, for those of u (DaddyBone) that arn't to intellegent.

Are any of the mods out there any good, and witch ones, if any, work with INF.

Please don't answer if you're just going to be juvenille or try to make me look stupid > /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

You asked one question in the first post then it was answered and you asked another completely different ? then got mad because it "wasn't answered"? Anyway, u4e is a really kick butt mod and the 13MB is well worth the d/l

Listen. I'm sorry if you thought I was talking down to you. I wasn't. If you look closely, you'll see I was very polite with my answer. (Most of the people that write to these forums have a whacky sense of humour, and could've been screwing around... I tried to address both situations)
All I can say in return is 'nice maturity level'. I'm sorry if you don't have the time. I can't help you there. My suggestion would be to post in the forum of the actual mod you are curious about, or send email to the creator for clarification. Those guys spend a lot of time on their mods, and are happy to help people who want to play them!

BY THE WAY... if you check the description lines of servers in GameSpy, alot of the servers have lines like ours, which is: {For Updates & Info: http://chipweb.colorado.edu/UnrealSOB}
I've spent a lot of time on our page, and I think I describe most of the most popular mods there. Sorry, but you are going to have to spend SOME time figuring things out...

Sorry for the rant, but I DID try to help! And you returned with a temper tantrum!

Oh, and by the way, I have all the mods featured on our servers, plus some, in my Unreal, and they work together just fine. I think you may have a bigger problem. You may have to (I know, ICK!) re-install Unreal...

AND I would suggest TELLING people the reason behind your questions in your postings... Don't assume. You only get answers of at most the same intelligence as the question, after all.
