Zundfolge, that's a vicious misinterpretation of the truth. Exactly what Rage Against the Machine is against. In fact, RATM is pro-democracy (true democracy), anti-greed, anti-lies, pro-free speech and free expression. The basic values that America was originally founded on. They are the purest, most complete people I've ever heard. Just because they're against people using Christianity as an excuse to use force, or racism, doesn't mean they hate white christians. Zack de la Rocha's father is a devout Catholic, and Zack himself is half irish. Timmy C, and Brad Wilks, the bassist and drummer respectively are both white. Tom Morello is the darkest skinned one of them. He is also a political science major from Harvard. Your disrespect is unfounded and uneducated.
Anyways, as to Gringle's question
Bullet in the Head (Album one, "Rage Against the Machine", track 5) is about commercialism as it applies to telivision. They are denouncing how people use the corporate-driven american media system to control what people believe. Lyrics like "Believin all the lies they tellin ya, buyin' all the products that they sellin ya" illustrates this. An example of the ignorance that is enforced by this kind of commercialism is enforced in the lyric "ya brain dead, ya got a fuckin' bullet in your head" and "fools follow rules when the set commands ya" (referring to a television set).
As far as People of the Sun (album two, "Evil Empire", track one) goes, it is referring to the armed rebellion of the people of Mexico known as the Zapitista Movement, who took up arms to overthrow the dictatorship and instill a true democracy.
