It could have been better, but I feel like it was all a big setup and introduction for the Justice League movie (well, it was if you watched the mid credit scene). Quite a few flaws in the movie, but on it's own, I still enjoyed the movie as a whole and by itself. Jared Leto's joker was only ok I think. He seemed to worship money and fame instead of being an outright crazy, unpredictable person. I wouldn't mind if he returned, but I also wouldn't care if he didn't.

Leto was a fairly good Joker, which may seem at odds with some who think Heath Ledger was the model to beat... but while I did enjoy Ledger's take he wasn't a good Joker.

Ledger played an excellent crazy version of the character, but Joker is more than just crazy. Going by the comics as the canon, Joker doesn't care about chaos or anything like that. He's mostly about people knowing he did the crazy thing and fully embracing his crazy. Plus all the Joker-themed gear. When you come down to it, Jack Nicholson's Joker, while a bit too old to fight Batman on equal terms, was the most true to the comics version yet.

Leto comes a close second for all the costuming and whatnot. When he busted in with the SWAT team gear and it said "Joker" on front instead of anything more official? I had a lil' geek-gasm!

A sad and disturbing movie but a well told story. Beautiful and surreal imagery. Music by Brian Eno and This Mortal Coil. Well done but I don't know if I would watch it again.

This love story ends up being a totally confusing chronology that makes no sense. It seems the chronology was somehow twisted to make the plot work. However the whole movie ends up being confusing and messy.

O.k. I'm biased. I like the Wachowskis and this has to be on my shortlist of all-time favourite movies. I don't know how many times I've watched it.....

An entertaining reboot no doubt. The story gets a bit weak in places but it's that type of drama anyway.

I think the music in this flick is very good (thanks to Daft Punk).

I saw this movie when it first came out but I think I enjoyed it more the second time around. It actually hangs together quite well as a story.

I haven't seen this movie in years. It remains one of the great American films about one of the great eras in American history. A true triumph of a film about a triumphant endeavour undertaken by mankind.

In the Shadow of the Moon-10/10

For anyone who hasn't heard of this documentary it tells the history of the Apollo moon landings program from the points of view of some of the astronauts who went there.

Hearing from these men is truly inspirational and their endeavours remain possibly the greatest technical and exploration achievement undertaken by humankind (and definitely one of the most dangerous).

    RIP Neil Armstrong

Batman vs Superman - Last 20 minutes or so, 8/10, rest of the film, -42/10

Did they even have a first draft of a script before they started filming??

    Dr. Strange (3D)-6.5/10

Visually stunning and a good origin story but I thought the movie was a bit slow in places and the script dragged a bit. It will be interesting to see how the characters in this film tie-in to other Marvel films in future.

    The Spirit-5/10

Considering this people who made this made Sin City and 300 my opinion is that it wasn't really up to scratch. I think they tried to capture the cheese of the original comic but fell short. The pacing lacked some dynamics and, despite some jokes and interesting dialogue, Samuel L. Jackson's performance probably saved the film.
