heres my comments on the raptor:

In 1a the Raptor was virturally indestructable, now u hit a small bump and take damage. (too low maybe?)

On alcazar, Raptor jumping wouldnt take u to the far walls, now it does, and I can roll down them with less damage than a straight fall. It implys that the Raptor has less "weight" in this version.

as noted in other posts, Braking and stopping isnt right...it continues to move forward even though the key is not pressed (only when in vehicle).

Exiting as a gunner while moving is still deadly...needs to be fixed.

Raptor gun is still virturally worthless. needs more firepower.

use the space bar for braking and powersliding. works well. found that one out by chance today.

Though I agree that the raptor takes perhaps a severe amount of damage from hitting bumps, I think that you can get used to the steering, handling etc if you try a little harder. It is just a very minute detail that you roll forward slightly when breaking. In fact, it is more realistic.

180

you can now do a 180 in a raptor :)

but the turret is rather useless and deadly for anyone who tries to exit before the vehicle is at a complete stop :(

definatly some work is needed but overall i give beta 2 a big thumbs up

I was playing on the BBF server, and on Garden, for some reason, everyone was switched to mouse steering when driving the raptor. Might be a server setting, or a bug, I don't know.

I actually drove a raptor off a small cliff, and died when I hit the bottom despite landing on all four wheels.

I still think the Raptor needs to take far less structual damage from bumps and such. Its more fragile than a modern civilian car.

That was caused by the server. some how, "magically" the user INI on the server was set to "True" for mouse steering. I know I didnt change it...soo...
