Sign up for the PuF 4v4 CTF Tournament now! The rules have been written below. This is to be a fun tournament and is an open signup. First come first served
Here is where you sign up.
Tourney Rules:
Sign ups: You sign up by giving us your name, e-mail address, and a password so you can manage your account. The e-mail must be validated because that's how you all will communicate with each other. At the end of the tournament all teams are cleared of it's members and to be reassigned to a team, you must return and verify that you want to play again. We are accepting 40 sign ups, any sign ups after that will be on the waiting list and when the next tourney comes around they will be sent an e-mail (along with everyone else who has just played) stating it's time to sign up again.
Teams: Each team has 5 members. One person will be assigned as captain and that captain will be responsible for organizing each game with its own team, opposing team, and the server. Games will be 4v4 so it is up to the team to decide who will sit out each game. We encourage you to rotate the alternate so everyone gets as many chances to play as possible. Since matches are decided on "Best of 3" it is perfectly OK to make lineup changes after a game, or even during a game.
Server: Each match must be scheduled with a time on The Web (unreal://theweb.dns2go.com), this is to guarantee that a time and place is available for each match. If you end up playing on another server, that's OK, but this way matches cannot be postponed due to the unavailability of a server.
Matches: Each match will be a best of 3. Each team chooses one map and the tiebreaker map will be CTF-Orbital.
Broadcast: Each match played on The Web will be broadcast via IRC to #theweb on irc.enterthegame.com
