problem with multiplayer mode

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Situation: i host a game. Other player connects. i can drive with a car in the game, my friend can´t. All keys have the right function except the driving keys by my friend.

What can i do?

You haven't read the readme have you.

We need a sticky news post on the website saying READ THE README!!!

In the readme it clearly states that in order to host a server you have to add two lines to your ut2004.ini.

These are the lines you must add to the server packages section of your Ut2004.ini:

ServerPackages=UnWheel
ServerPackages=UnWheelVehicles

same problem here. Added the ServerPackage lines and have other people's car uncontrollabe (xcept mine). Any help here? Thanks

Ahh different problem. I apologise for being short with you then.
We're looking into this problem, everyone seems to be getting it (congrats Epic!) since the last two patches.

In Project X's defence the server fix has been something that has had to be added since the first UnWheel release in order to host a server, and not may people have taken the time to check the readme for this fix (I have had several people ask for this fix when it is posted on the site http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=136057 the problem discussed a little way down this tread is what the server fix fixes) . I would also like to thank you Shark2003 for going to the readme to fix your problem. It may not have fixed the problem you are having but it is still a needed fix, and like PX was saying the problem you are having is being looked into.
