Problem w/ IE 5

I had to reformat whole computer and ended up downloading IE 5. Now, when I try and view sites, it says I need to download Microsoft Virtual Machine... now, I try and download it, only for it to try and download it to my cd rom drive. Not working, so I try and use another option, there's A:, C:, D:, and The Internet. It says for me to download to the IE 5 folder, excpet I can't find it anywhere... any suggestions?

IE 5 is working fine, the only problem is that I didn't download the Microsoft Virtual Machine component, now when I want to, I can't find the folder to download it into, that was my original questions.

Well, I figured out where to download it to, nevermind on my question.

I this happens in the future use the "find" feature under the "start" menu.

Type in "ie 5" or whatever the file or folder is. Check which drive(s) you want win98 to check for the thing and hit start or search.
